About

I'm an Engineer turned Neuroscientist interested in understanding the most complex machine in the universe. My undergraduate degree was in Computer Science Engineering followed by industrial experience. I was intrigued by the brain and switched to Neuroscience. After pursuing a Master's degree in Computational Biology, I started a Ph.D. in Psychological and Brain Sciences at Boston University working with Prof. David Somers on attention, working memory, and predictive models of cognition in healthy and patient populations. I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Brain Science at Harvard University working with Prof. Randy Buckner to understand the function and organization of large scale brain networks. I'm currently Assistant Professor at the Cognitive and Brain Sciences Department at IIT Gandhinagar, India.
